The Race Engineer partners with the Crew Chief and Car Chief to prepare the car, evaluate on-track performance, and support technical decisions during race weekends.
What you’ll do
- Analyze setup, simulation, and on-track data and recommend changes.
- Maintain accurate setup sheets and race-weekend engineering records.
- Communicate findings and priorities to the Crew Chief, Car Chief, and shop engineering group.
Minimum requirements
- At least three years of experience as a Race Engineer in professional stock car racing.
- Proficiency with race car setup, data analysis, and simulation workflows.
- Ability to present technical findings clearly under race-weekend time pressure.
- A positive attitude, clear communication, attention to detail, and ability to work as part of a team.
- Availability to travel for race weekends and work the schedule required by the team.
