The Shop Based Support Engineer works with the Head Engineer, car chiefs, and mechanics on preparation, data organization, and technical support for both cars.
What you’ll do
- Support setup planning and technical preparation for both cars.
- Organize engineering data and communicate findings to the relevant car teams.
- Help translate engineering plans into accurate shop preparation.
Minimum requirements
- At least three years of experience as a motorsports engineer or in a directly equivalent race car engineering role.
- Ability to interpret setup and performance data and make clear recommendations.
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft 365 applications.
- A positive attitude, clear communication, attention to detail, and ability to work as part of a team.
